Dystopian Omen is a death metal band formed in Salamanca, Spain, in 2019. Featuring Azofra on drums, Marina García on bass, Oliver and Nacho on guitars, and María Magalláns on vocals and lyrics, the band delivers an aggressive, straightforward sound with no compromises.

Their music blends crushing death metal with strong grindcore influences, drawing comparisons to War of Attrition-era Dying Fetus and early Landmine Marathon. On their latest release, Convoluted Forms of Venom (November 1st, 2025, self-released), the band unleashes a barrage of intense and punishing tracks driven by heavy riffs, sharp rhythms and well-placed shifts designed to hit hard from the first listen.

With a fully DIY approach—Oli handling the mastering and María responsible for the artwork—Dystopian Omen channel their rage against a system rooted in ignorance and barbarism. Convoluted Forms of Venom establishes the band as a solid force within the Spanish death metal scene, with a brutal potential that clearly points higher.
