Vilethrone is a death metal band formed in Barcelona in 2023. Their sound draws from the rawest roots of death metal, delivering a dense, violent and oppressive approach.

Vilethrone’s compositions are driven by crushing riffs, relentless rhythms and a dark, macabre atmosphere. Their lyrics are inspired by medieval imagery shaped by war, hatred and violence, portraying a devastated world where brutality reigns supreme. The band balances straightforward, blood-soaked aggression with more atmospheric and gloomy passages, without ever losing intensity.

In 2024 they released their debut EP In Cathedra Damnatorum through local label Cases de la Música, preceded by the single God-Devouring Serpent. A solid and savage first strike that establishes Vilethrone as a rising force within the Catalan extreme metal scene.
